The Ceylon Association for the Mentally Retarded (CAMR), is a pioneer and national organization in the field of\u00a0Intellectual Disabilities in Sri Lanka. They currently have 60 affiliate members in Sri Lanka. They have recently hosted The\u00a022nd Conference on Asian Federation on Intellectual Disabilities. We visited a day care center which is being run by\u00a0CAMR in Colombo, Sri Lanka. There we had a meeting with the\u00a0executive committee of CAMR. A demonstration of Threap was provided to the\u00a0executive committee of CAMR and the benefits were highlighted. The\u00a0executive committee of CAMR also communicated challenges which are faced by them, in terms of using such a system. Therap Services\u00a0will be highlighted in the future programs and workshops held by CAMR.<\/p>\n
