The Ceylon School for the Blind and Deaf, is one of the premier institutions in Sri Lanka, catering to the needs of persons with visual impairment and hearing impairment. This institute established in 1912, have recently started using Therap for their online documentation needs. \u00a0We went there to arrange a training session with the teachers and staff of the school. In the first phase of the training they are getting introduced to the concepts of the software. The school caters to the need of persons with visual impairment and hearing impairment. There are 2 different schools for that purpose, on the same premises. There are also persons, who have multiple disabilities. The teachers and staff of the school felt, this software would help them provide better services to them. With the improved data storage and tracking system, they would be well\u00a0informed about the persons with disabilities.<\/p>\n
