As part of their training and implementation Therap conducted a training session for Sisters of Charity. Sisters of charity has been providing premier quality services to the persons with Intellectual Disabilities. For years now they have been advocating for the rights of persons with Intellectual Disabilities in Sri lanka. They have 3 institutes, the oldest of which dates back to 1964.\u00a0 They started the youngest of the institutes to serve the severely affected persons with Intellectual Disabilities by the Boxing Day tsunami, which devastated Sri Lanka in 2004. The training session was administered by Malisa Mehjabeen.
