{"id":12507,"date":"2019-04-29T09:46:11","date_gmt":"2019-04-29T09:46:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.therapglobal.net\/globalblog\/?p=12507"},"modified":"2019-04-29T09:46:11","modified_gmt":"2019-04-29T09:46:11","slug":"therap-global-visits-autismcare-nepal-society-acns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.therapglobal.net\/globalblog\/therap-global-visits-autismcare-nepal-society-acns\/","title":{"rendered":"Therap Global visits AutismCare Nepal Society (ACNS)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Therap Global, the leader in providing electronic documentation for organizations supporting Persons with Disabilities (PWD) visited <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/autismnepal.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">AutismCare Nepal Society (ACNS)<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> on March 27, 2019.\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mr. Surendra Bajracharya (Chief Administrator) of ACNS welcomed our team members to their agency. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mr. Surendra gave a presentation on Disability Awareness and emphasized on how the number of disability is increasing at an alarming rate in Nepal and how the situation can be improved. The lack of electronic records on the number of Persons with Disability (PWD) has posed a challenge for organizations. In light of that Therap Global has been supporting organizations like ACNS to document information of those people at ease through its suite of applications. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Afterward, we visited the classrooms to see how the teachers are providing services to their individuals. ACNS was founded in 2008, on the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day. It is the only active non-profit organization in Nepal, run by passionate parents and guardians to serve different services for children with autism to improve their condition. Along with that, they provide a platform for parents to share their knowledge and experience to help and create awareness about autism in society.
