Training and Implementation Specialists of Therap Global team, Hasin Israq and Md. Tanvir Mahbub recently visited Hearing Impaired Children & Hearing Aid Center (HICHAC) in Khulna to conduct an onsite training session with the teachers. Therap Global team members met the Executive Director <\/span>Ms. Mahabuba Chowdhury<\/a><\/strong> at her office. After that, the team visited the classrooms and the audiology center and got an idea of the teaching-learning process of the organization.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After getting a tour of the organization, the training session started with eight teachers along with Ms. Salma Rahman who is the Vice President of the school. The session started with a brief overview of Therap. After that, Ms. Mahabuba Chowdhury was assisted with\u00a0 logging into the system, which was later followed by all the other teachers of the organization. They were also given a demonstration of how to create users and how the services they provide can be added in the system. The school is currently using Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to document information about their students. Afterwards they were provided with an in-depth training on how they can intake their students into the Therap system. Later on, they were able to intake the students on their own, along with learning how to use the Individual Data Form (IDF) module of Therap. One of the teachers, Ms. Selina Akhter will start learning about Individual Support Plan (ISP) and the audiologist Mr. Shawon will be helping other teachers in the process of enrolling students in the system.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Later the teachers were shown how they can get support according to their needs by accessing Therap\u2019s support materials such as user guides, training videos, mobile friendly videos and more. The teachers requested for more training sessions.
