Therap Global team recently visited Blue Bird Special school in Baridhara, Dhaka. Prattay Iqbal (Director of Business Development Asia, MENA & Africa Region) and\u00a0<\/span>Abu Saleh Al Momin (Training and Implementation Specialist) from Therap Global team were present during the visit. Members of Therap US team Jody Traina and Jeremy Robbins along with a few colleagues from the Development and the Marketing team were present there as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

Blue Bird School is a private and non-profit organization that specializes in special needs education along with different types of therapy treatments. It was founded on June 6, 2016. The school has around 35 students and their teacher-student ratio is 1:1.<\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting was started by Jody and Jeremy where Jody gave a presentation on the benefits of using Therap and how Therap is enhancing the quality of service for Persons With Disabilities through Person-Centered Service Planning. We also gave them an overview of our enhanced <\/span>Health Tracking<\/b><\/a> module which allows users to efficiently track different types of health data and create detailed and monthly reports. We talked about some of the other related modules we have such as <\/span>Height\/Weight<\/b><\/a>, <\/span>Seizures<\/b><\/a>, <\/span>Appointments<\/b><\/a> and also <\/span>Health Care Report<\/b><\/a>. In order to monitor activities and behavior changes including sleeping patterns and mood swings of Individuals over a period of time at regular intervals, we introduced them to the <\/span>Time Tracking<\/b><\/a> module. The teachers had questions about Therap’s T-Log and ISP module since they are using these modules in their agency to document.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the end of the discussions, the principal gave us a short tour of the classrooms where the students were learning various things. Blue Bird Special School gave us a legitimate idea about the teaching process of the special students which in the end would help us in making our system even better for the end-user.<\/span><\/p>\n

Overall, the meeting was fruitful and the team enjoyed the discussions with the teachers very much. We hope to continue this beautiful journey with Blue Bird Special School in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n
