{"id":14062,"date":"2023-05-08T07:21:52","date_gmt":"2023-05-08T07:21:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.therapglobal.net\/globalblog\/?p=14062"},"modified":"2023-05-08T09:00:04","modified_gmt":"2023-05-08T09:00:04","slug":"therap-global-onsite-meeting-with-national-level-ngos-in-the-philippines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.therapglobal.net\/globalblog\/therap-global-onsite-meeting-with-national-level-ngos-in-the-philippines\/","title":{"rendered":"Therap Global Onsite Meeting with National-Level NGOs in the Philippines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Therap Global team members <\/span><b>Prattay Iqbal, Director \u2013 Business Development <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and<\/span><b> Alphonsus De Alban, Philippines Representative<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> visited <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.norfil.org\/portfolio\/norfil-building\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>NORFIL Foundation<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.advancingpartners.org\/grants\/grantees\/resources-blind-inc-rbi#:~:text=(RBI)-,Resources%20for%20the%20Blind%2C%20Inc.,vision%20treatment%20across%20the%20Philippines.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Resources of the Blind Inc.(RBI)<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in <\/span><b>April, 2023<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to conduct different onsite meetings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.norfil.org\/portfolio\/norfil-building\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>NORFIL Foundation<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> meeting, held on <\/span><b>April 11th<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, the Executive Director of the organization Teresa Nuqui, Project Director Ranilo Sorongan, and two other directors were present. After our Global Team\u2019s demonstration of the Therap System and the services we provide, they were optimistic about integrating Therap in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On <\/span><b>April 13th<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, our team also paid a visit to the<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.advancingpartners.org\/grants\/grantees\/resources-blind-inc-rbi#:~:text=(RBI)-,Resources%20for%20the%20Blind%2C%20Inc.,vision%20treatment%20across%20the%20Philippines.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Resources of the Blind Inc.(RBI)<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, a non-governmental organization (NGO) that provides vision treatment services throughout the Philippines. Dr. Yolanda Quijano, Former Vice President and active member of AFID and PAFID, now in charge of the project <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ph.usembassy.gov\/tag\/usaids-gabay-strengthening-inclusive-education-for-blind-deaf-children-project\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>USAID\u2019s Gabay<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, was present during the meeting. Although they currently use a different platform, Therap application seemed much more comprehensive and efficient to them.
