Therap Global team member <\/span>Zaria Haque <\/b>has visited the<\/span> Prerona Autism School<\/b><\/a> to conduct an onsite meeting on <\/span>October 27 2024<\/b>. Mir Meshkatun, Headteacher, Nazim Uddin, General Secretary and other teachers were present at the visit.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting with Prerona Autism School was aimed to provide onsite training and support to the school’s staff. The school being a non-profit special education institution in Chattogram, offers a comprehensive range of services including academic, occupational, and vocational skills training, as well as play therapy to approximately 60 students in two shifts.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the visit, approximately 17 teachers participated in the training sessions. The school has already begun utilizing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) using Therap’s <\/span>Individual Support Plan (ISP)<\/b><\/a> module to track long-term educational goals for their students. The focus of the recent training was to guide the teachers in creating detailed, monthly plans to track progress on specific tasks. Therap’s automated report generation feature was also highlighted. This feature allows for the creation of various reports, including graphs, tables, and monthly summaries. The school’s staff expressed appreciation for this efficient reporting tool.<\/span><\/p>\n

The training concluded with a productive question-and-answer session. Overall, the visit was deemed a success.<\/span><\/p>\n
