On April 07, 2026, the Therap Global team recently visited Shohay – A Home Based Rehabilitation Programme at their Diganta Villa location in Modhumati Model Town. This onsite training session marked a significant step forward in Shohay’s journey toward modernizing their documentation and enhancing the quality of care for their residents.

Empowering Care through Dedicated Service

Shohay is a specialized residential service provider currently supporting approximately 20 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With a passionate team of 18 staff members, they provide a holistic range of services that include assessment and diagnosis, specialized education and training, therapeutic interventions, vocational training, and social inclusion. During the visit, Therap Global team members Md Tanvir Mahabub and Zaria Haque met with Dr. Anup Mandal (Founder) and Md Nazmul Islam (Co-founder & Manager) to discuss how digital tools can alleviate the heavy burdens of manual record-keeping.

From Paper to Progress: The Training Session

Currently, Shohay manages its extensive documentation through traditional paper-based files. Recognizing the need for a more efficient, secure, and searchable system, the leadership expressed a strong interest in transitioning to an online solution.

The training began with a successful Administrative Setup, completing the basic configuration of Shohay’s digital agency account. The team then moved to the Individual Demographic Form (IDF), where staff learned to centralize person-centered data to ensure vital resident information is always accessible and up-to-date. Finally, the T-Log Module was introduced to replace manual daily diaries, allowing for real-time communication and significantly better tracking of resident progress.

To facilitate this transition, the Therap Global team conducted a hands-on training session in Shohay’s meeting room. The session focused on the core building blocks of the Therap system.

A Future-Focused Collaboration

The session was met with great enthusiasm. Dr. Anup Mandal and the management team expressed their appreciation for the platform’s ease of use and its potential to streamline their daily administrative tasks. By moving away from manual systems, Shohay aims to free up more time for their staff to focus on what matters most: direct support and individualized care.

Looking ahead, Shohay is eager to explore additional Therap modules to further integrate their clinical and vocational data into one secure ecosystem.

Therap Global is honored to support organizations like Shohay in their mission to provide world-class rehabilitation services through data-driven insights and innovative digital solutions.
