The country located in the Heart of Africa, Kenya is referred to as the cradle of humanity. According to the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS), about 3.5 percent of the population in Kenya faces some form of disability. According to the Constitution of Kenya and PWD ACT 2003, poverty eradication and education for all remains the main focus. Therap Global, has been diligently working with stakeholders in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) community which includes government and private agencies, schools, donor organizations, and families.

Being the global leader in providing electronic documentation, we provide solutions to agencies working with Persons With Disabilities (PWD) since 2003. Therap expert, Ishya “Shae” Dotson visited National Council for Persons with Disabilities in Nairobi, Cerebral Palsy Society of Kenya (CPSK) and United Disabled Persons of Kenya (UDPK) in September 2018. After the successful visit, Therap Global will be visiting Kenya soon, and this visit will consist of meeting service providers and government organizations working for individuals with disabilities. This will give us a scope to know more about them. Likewise, we will provide an overview of Therap suite of applications and how it can be used for regular electronic documentation. Our team is striving to work with the service providers who are working with the Ministry of Health in Kenya. Our aim is to help the service providers efficiently record information through electronic documentation, which will lead them to improve the quality of care and services provided to Persons With Disabilities (PWD).
