Therap Global team member, Prattay Iqbal (Business Development Director – Asia, Africa & MENA Region) recently visited Manila, Philippines. He conducted an onsite training session in St. Philomena School on 1st October, 2019.
For last one year St. Philomena School has been using Therap to document the services they are providing to Persons with Disabilities (PWD). Currently they are using Therap’s T-Log module regularly to track and document daily progress notes. During the session, they were given training on how to use Therap’s Individual Support Plan (ISP) module to document the Individual Education Plan (IEP). The teachers were thrilled to know that instead of using paper, they can now easily document Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in Therap system. The teachers of the school are now creating Individual Support Plan (ISP) templates for their children so that they can implement the module soon. The admins of the school also took a separate training session on how to generate progress notes and reports on Individual Education Plans (IEPs). The training sessions with both admins and teachers were successful and Therap Global team is hoping for more onsite and online training sessions with them.
Therap Global is sponsoring the 3rd International Developmental Pediatrics Association (IDPA) Congress in the Philippines on December 2019, where St. Philomena School will be participating as well. The school will also participate in the 24th Asian Federation on Intellectual Disabilities (AFID) Conference in Nepal, where Therap Global is both a sponsor and technology partner.
