Therap to attend 22nd Asian Conference on Intellectual Disabilities in Sri Lanka next week

Therap Services is excited to attend the 22nd Asian Conference on Intellectual Disabilities next week. This year’s conference is going to take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka between October 3rd and 7th, 2015. As one of the sponsors of the conference, we are looking forward to meeting the members and delegates attending the conference and get an opportunity to discuss the use of ICT in the Intellectual Disabilities field in Asia. Faisal Iqbal and Andalib Kabir from Therap Services are going to attend the conference.

About AFID

Asian Federation on Intellectual Disabilites, started its journey in 1973, at a Conference held in Manila, Philippines. Under the auspices of UNESCO, the 420 delegates from 21 countries presented unanimously, recommended for the establishment of a common platform for the Intellectual Disability field in Asia, and the Federation was inaugurated.The AFID currently has its permanent secretariat in Seoul, South Korea with 13 full and 6 associate members from 13 different countries across Asia.
