We are pleased to announce, Therap Services is going to attend the 22nd Asian Conference on Intellectual Disabilities. This conference is organized by Asian Federation on Intellectual Disabilities on every alternate year. This year’s conference is going to take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka between October 3rd and 7th, 2015. Richard A. Robbins, Chief Executive Officer and Mojahedul Hoque Abul Hasanat, Chief Technology Officer of Therap will be attending the conference. Members and delegates attending the conference will get an opportunity to discuss the use of ICT in the Intellectual Disabilities field in Asia in this year’s conference.
About AFID
Asian Federation on Intellectual Disability started its journey in 1973, at a Conference held in Manila, Philippines. Under the auspices of UNESCO, the 420 delegates from 21 countries presented unanimously, recommended for the establishment of a common platform for the Intellectual Disabilities field in Asia, and the Federation was inaugurated. The AFID currently has its permanent secretariat in Seoul, South Korea with 13 full and 6 associate members from 13 different countries across Asia.
