The theme of the conference this year was “Empowering Persons with Disabilities: Developing Resilience and Inclusive Sustainable Development.” The attendees came in from various parts of the world including organization management, caregivers, parents, teachers and special educators who are involved with the disability community.
On the first day, Beatrice Adera, IASE President herself welcomed all the attendees. The ceremony started off with traditional music, dancing and also an outdoor opening reception night. On the second day of the conference, her Excellency Samia Suluhu Hassan, Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania started the event with a welcome message for the attendees. Therap Global team met with Susan Pursch, Secretary of IASE board in the US.
There were several booths exhibiting with Therap Global at the conference. We had attendees come over to our booth inquiring about our software and the benefits of using our software in their organization providing services to Persons with Disabilities (PWD). In the conference, Therap Global got acquainted with numerous organizations working for PWD in Tanzania.
Therap Global had an amazing experience at the four-day conference. The team got to meet many people working for the special needs people and also learned about how IASE is working worldwide to ensure a better quality of support for PWDs.
