Therap Global attended the 7th YPAC Nasional meeting which took place from July 26-28, 2019 at Central Bangka, Indonesia. The team had an opportunity to meet all the branches of YPAC, of which YPAC Semarang, YPAC Bandung, and YPAC Pangkal Pinang have started implementing Therap software to electronically document vital information of Persons with Disabilities (PWD). Therap Global previously met members from YPAC Jakarta and YPAC Solo in prior visits and enjoyed meeting members from other regions this time.

Each of the three agencies underwent an initial training session conducted by our team member Prattay Iqbal (Director, Business Development, Asia, Mena & Africa Region). Ahman Sidiq, and Sri Suparni, Head of IT and Senior Teacher of YPAC Semarang respectively and Lily Tampubolon, Supervisor of YPAC Bandung participated in the training along with other staff. Amongst the participants, Physiotherapist of YPAC Pangkalpinang, Barniah Baharudin was also present.

According to International Labor Organization (ILO), a country full of majestic mountains and glorious temples has a population of approximately 270 million, of which 12.15% of the people are registered with some form of disability. However, the lack of electronic documentation has posed a challenge for providing adequate help and support to the individuals. Therap Global, the leader in providing electronic documentation for organizations supporting Persons with Disabilities (PWD) has been working with some of the agencies in Indonesia to help electronically document and record crucial information about them. Our team attended the meeting along with 116 attendees of YPAC Nasional and enjoyed meeting the representatives of each branch and looks forward to continuing working with them.
