On September 4, 2018 Therap team visited Autism Welfare Foundation (AWF), a special school which is providing support to the people with special needs since 2004. Autism Welfare Foundation has been using Therap for around 2 years for their daily documentation.
Some Therap experts from USA Maureen Noonan (Director of Customer Support), Nadine Sturgess (Billing Specialist/ Special Billing Projects) and Heather Thornton (Billing Specialist) along with Therap Global team and some Developers visited the school.
Dr. Rownak Hafiz, Chairperson of AWF along with other teachers warmly welcomed Therap team to their new building. She herself gave Therap team a tour of the whole building. In the new building, they have different places for different activities and therapies. They showed all the activities that they are doing and how the children are making progress. They also showed some creative work of the individuals that they are painting beautiful pictures and also crafting different showpieces, singing beautiful songs and also winning prizes in different programs.
Overall it was a nice tour of the school and Therap USA team also got to know about the special schools in Bangladesh and they were very excited. We look forward to visit AWF soon.
