The Self-help Group for Cerebral Palsy (SGCP), Nepal has been providing support to people with Cerebral Palsy in Nepal since 1987. It’s the only non-governmental and non-profit organization in Nepal dedicated to support people with cerebral palsy and their families.
Therap team is delighted to visit SGCP, Nepal yet again on April 12, 2018 with Therap USA Personnel Michelle Saunders, Business Development Consultant, Joshua Corzantes, Senior Training and Implementation Specialist, Ishya “Shae” Dotson, State Implementation Specialist, Fayonne Johnson, Senior Training and Implementation Specialist along with Prattay Iqbal, International Business Development Executive and other Quality Assurance professionals from Therap Bangladesh team.
Mr. Bimal L Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer, SGCP, Nepal welcomed the Therap team warmly.
SGCP was registered with Therap on 2017 and since then they are using Therap to maintain their daily documentation of the individuals and other day to day task.
Therap team then had a tour to the beautiful premises of SGCP and the beauty of SGCP facility fascinated everyone. It had neat and clean premises with various kinds of fruit tree and flower plants. Therap team visited the classrooms of SGCP and had the opportunity to interact with the teachers and got to know the activities and tasks they do in different classrooms.
Later on, Therap team had a discussion with SGCP authority and discussed further implementation plan of Therap in SGCP. Therap team had the opportunity to demonstrate one of Therap’s popular module ISP to the SGCP team and they liked ISP Report very much which is a useful module to see an Individual’s progress on a specific IEP in a graphical interface. SGCP team also expressed their interest to use Therap’s other modules in future which can make the day to day documentation more easier for them.
Therap team expresses thankfulness to SGCP, Nepal team for inviting Therap to visit SGCP again and wishes to continue working with them in future also.
