Therap Asia organised their 2nd Annual Dhaka Conference 2018 at RAOWA Convention Center, Dhaka on April 9, 2018. This year the theme was ‘Using Documentation to Improve Quality of Care and Support for Better Future’. Both Therap users and potential Therap users from disability service providing agencies were present at the conference. Over 250 special school teachers, therapists and executive board members from across 60 disability organization attended the conference.

Various popular newspapers of Bangladesh featured the Therap conference- Ittefaq, Kaler Kantho, Samakal, Bangla Tribune and New Age. They also featured the news on their online news portal. The attendees at the conference also shared these news on their profile in social media. They also added that Therap should organise this type of conference every year.

The conference was introduced by Maj. Gen. (Retd.) M. Shamim Chowdhury, Head of HR and Vital Assets of Therap (BD) Ltd. Richard Robbins, CEO of Therap Services later shared his vision for Therap Asia and visions of Therap to go global. Members from the Therap USA team and also the users of Therap spoke about the importance of digital documentation to improve quality of care for persons with disabilities at the event. Therap users also explained the benefits they have gained by implementing Therap’s Electronic Health Records software.
