The Society for the Welfare of Autistic Children (SWAC) is a nonprofit and voluntary organization providing education and training to special children since February 3, 2000.
A team of 9 persons from Therap visited SWAC on November 14, 2017. Sabina Hossain, Director and Md. Mofizul Islam, Deputy Manager from SWAC welcomed Therap team cordially. USA personnel Jeff Covington (Deputy Director of USA State Implementation), Johanna Kroth (Senior Training & Implementation Specialist) from Therap USA team along with Quality Assurance professionals from Therap Bangladesh team visited SWAC.
The tour of the school started with visiting classrooms of SWAC with the guidance of SWAC personnel. Teachers and special educators of SWAC described Therap team how they teach and train the special children. Therap team were privileged to get a look at the curriculum and services provided in different classrooms of SWAC for different individuals.
After the school tour Therap team then had question answer session with teachers of SWAC. Jeff Covington (Deputy Director of USA State Implementation) answered all of their queries regarding Therap system.
Therap team is very delighted to visit SWAC and thanked SWAC authorities for the invitation.
