A team of eight people from Therap visited the special school Angels Care Foundation on November 15, 2017. Therap Asia team along with USA personnel (with more than 20 years of experience) Jason Laws (Business Development Consultant ), Sarah Christiansen (Training and Implementation Specialist)and several Programmer and Quality Assurance professionals from Therap Bangladesh visited the school.
Therap team reached school in the morning and all the teachers received them with a warm welcome. The president of the school Dr. Mushfequr Rahman and the Head Teacher Ms. Farzana Faruq were also present. Dr. Mushfequr Rahman, accompanied the Therap team during the tour to all the classrooms of the school. In each classroom he explained how their teaching procedure works and how the children are improving their abilities. Some children showed their talent by reciting rhymes and reading from books. After that the school management had a discussion with the Therap team about how they are doing their daily documentation and how using Therap is helping them to improve their quality of services. The teachers also showed that how they actually do the digital documentation daily and also they shared their experience of using Therap on a daily basis. According to them it is much easier for them to track all the data about the children in Therap and they are really happy with it.
Few special children did some heartwarming performance for the Therap team. Later on Jason Laws and Sarah Christiansen thanked them for the invitation to their school. As this was the first visit to Bangladesh for Jason Laws and Sarah Christiansen, it was a pleasant experience for them to visit a special school like Angels Care Foundation.
