We are please to announce that, Therap finishes its training at with the Sisters of Charity. In this phase of training, the staff and sisters of the Sisters of Charity took part in the training. The sisters and staffs who took the training in Colombo, will be followed up by Therap in the coming days. It was an interesting experience for us to see how do they cope up with a new technology such as Therap. The training was provided in an environment conducive for learning. We hope we will be able to come back to provide more training sessions in here.
Sisters of charity has been providing premier quality services to the persons with Intellectual Disabilities. For years now they have been advocating for the rights of persons with Intellectual Disabilities in Sri lanka. They have 3 institutes, the oldest of which dates back to 1964. They started the youngest of the institutes to serve the severely affected persons with Intellectual Disabilities by the Boxing Day tsunami, which devastated Sri Lanka in 2004.
