Ken Slavin, Therap Global Business Expert is in Zambia, meeting with organizations working with Persons With Disabilities (PWD). He will be providing an overview of Therap’s electronic documentation software for the daily reporting and communication needs of those working in the PWD community. Ken has an extensive experience working in the developmental disabilities community and has been involved in this community for a very long time.

Recently, Ken Slavin arrived in Lusaka to attend the Forum on Inclusive Education organized by Inclusion Africa, which is a regional federation of family-based organizations advocating for human rights and full inclusion of persons with intellectual disabilities in Africa. Representatives from different countries in Africa attended the workshop and presented status reports on how they are preceding towards Inclusive Education. There was a clear consensus on the need for better data to make reports of progress more compelling as well as the need for better teacher support and training. Inclusion Africa committed to make a difference in compelling report generation.

While Ken is in Zambia, he is looking forward to meet with the organizations who are working diligently to support individuals with disabilities and discuss the benefits of using Therap software to document the services provided to them.
