Ken Slavin, Therap Global Business Expert is currently in Zambia meeting with organizations working with Persons With Disabilities (PWD). He will be providing them an overview of Therap’s electronic documentation software for the daily reporting and communication needs of those working in the PWD community.
Ken has an extensive experience working in the developmental disabilities community and has been involved in businesses that serve Intellectual and Developmental Disability (I/DD) community. Ken joined Therap in 2008 in Business Development after supervising the Home and Community Based Waiver Office in the District of Columbia, United States. Prior to working with the District of Columbia government, he was a management consultant for several companies including American Management Systems, and National Computer Systems. In that capacity, he managed the implementation of Management Information Systems at approximately 20 colleges, worked as project manager for the Social Security Administration’s first implementation of a Wide Area Network, and managed the training for the introduction of the National Direct Student Loan program by the US Department of Education.
While Ken is in Zambia, he would love to meet the organizations who are working diligently to support the individuals with disabilities and discuss the benefits of using Therap software to document the services provided to them.
