Therap Team Visiting SWID Bangladesh

Society for the Welfare of the Intellectually Disabled (SWID) Bangladesh has been working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities since 1977. Being one of the pioneer organizations in disability fields in the country, SWID Bangladesh has now over 350 special schools all over Bangladesh, under its umbrella. The collaboration between Therap Services and SWID Bangladesh has come a long way since 2015. SWID Bangladesh is hosting the upcoming 23rd Conference of Asian Federation on Intellectual Disabilities (AFID), while Therap Services is the Technology Partner and Sponsor of the conference. Therap Team Visiting Autism Welfare Foundation (AWF)

Autism Welfare Foundation (AWF) has been working since 2004 with a view to bringing the autistic children to the mainstream of life and making their life meaningful by providing them suitable and proper training. AWF has been using Therap since 2016 in order to improve the quality of services towards their students. Recently, Therap team had a delightful visit at AWF on April 16, 2017. Therap Workshop in Kathmandu, Nepal

Therap Asia has been delighted to organize a successful workshop, in collaboration with NAID Nepal on April 24, 2017 at Grand Hotel Kathmandu for Therap’s  users and wellwishers in Nepal. First Ever Therap Conference on “Improve Quality of Service for Persons with Disabilities Using Digital Documentation” in Bangladesh

Therap Asia successfully conducted their first National Conference in Bangladesh on April 20, 2017 at the RAOWA Convention Hall. With the motto of 'Improve Quality of Service for Persons with Disabilities Using Digital Documentation', the conference was attended by several disability organizations across the country, who have been working to better serve disabled individuals with the help of the online documentation software, Therap. Continued Training Sessions with Bangladeshi Organizations – Therap Visits BMIS

As a part of ongoing training sessions with different Bangladeshi organizations, Therap recently conducted a training session with Baptist Mission Integrated School (BMIS). BMIS is a special school serving over 100 individuals and among them, 65 individuals are with visual impairment. During the training sessions, Mr Ashiqur Rahman and Prattay Iqbal trained the teachers of BMIS about the basics of Therap and how to use Therap for better documentation to keep track about the progress of persons with disabilities. Therap visits Several Disability Organizations in Nepal

During the latest trip to the land of Himalayas, Therap visited several new organizations who began their journey as Therap users. These organizations have been working for the betterment of the lives of Persons with Disabilities (PWD). Down Syndrome Association of Nepal, Community Based Rehabilitation Organization Bhaktapur, National Rehabilitation Center of the Disabled Nepal, Parent Federation of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, Center for Children with Intellectual Disability - are some of the new addition to the Therap user group from Nepal. In-person Training for the Therap Users in Nepal

Therap completed another visit to Nepal. This visit was mainly focused on user training sessions.  Therap organized training sessions with users from Navjyoti Centre, SERC School, Resource and Family Counselling school for Intellectually Disabled and Special School For Disabled & Rehabilitation Center (SSDRC). Therap works consistently to improve the quality of services provided to the People with Disabilities (PWD), and is delighted to be a part of the efforts from different disability organizations. With Therap software, the users are ensuring Transparency and Accountability in their organizations. Therap visits organizations providing services to PWD in Jakarta, Indonesia

Therap visited Jakarta, Indonesia in January and met with a number of organizations providing services to individuals with special needs. During the visit, Prattay Iqbal, International Business Development Executive from Therap, went to Yayasan Pendidikan Dwituna Rawinala and had a meeting with Belle Y.C Mantiri, Director and Rev. Masriany Sithie M.Th, Research and Development Manager of the center. They are interested in using Therap for their documentation and tracking and would like to start soon. Therap, documentiaion software for PWD, starts its journey in Indonesia, Jakarta

On January 16, 2017 Prattay Iqbal, International Business Development Executive from Therap visited Jakarta, Indonesia to visit few organizations and special schools working for person with disability (PWD). Yatasan Pembinaan Anak Cacat (YPAC) Nasional, an Indonesian organization which has 17 special school nationwide, invited Therap to meet with them and discuss the documentation software Therap is offering. It was a productive meeting and all the 17 special schools for disability of YPAC would like to implement Therap for their documentation purposes.
