Therap Continues Online Training with Bangladeshi Organizations

Therap is continuing online training sessions with the leading disability organizations in Asia who are working for the betterment of the Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). In Bangladesh, Therap has been working with over 20 schools and other disability organizations to ensure better quality of services towards the people with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities. This week, Bangladesh Protibondhi Foundation (BPF) and SEID Trust have had their training sessions with Therap. The sessions were full of anticipations, queries and innovative discussions between the teaching stuffs of the organizations and Therap trainers. Therap is expecting to have more and more effective sessions like these, with all the disability organizations and special schools in Bangladesh. ‘Sensory Diet and Daily Activities’ workshop by Tahmina Huq a Special Education teacher from Singapore

Tahmina Huq, a special education teacher from Singapore was in Bangladesh. She did a workshop on 'Sensory Diet and Daily Activities' in Dhaka and Chittagong. The workshop in Dhaka was organized at PFDA (Parents’ Forum for Differently Abled) Center. The workshop was attended by Ms. Sanjida Rahman Danny, President of PFDA, parents of person with disability and educators from other special schools all over Dhaka. Trip to Chittagong: Implementing Therap all over Bangladesh

It hasn't been long since Therap started their journey in Bangladesh. Last week Therap visited several  special schools in Chittagong, the port city of Bangladesh. Prattay Iqbal, International Business Development and Ashiqur Rahman, Training and Implementation Specialist met with Nishpap Autism Foundation who caters to the needs of autistic individuals. Dr Basana Muhuri, Executive President of Nishpap Autism Foundation was also present during the meeting. Nishpap Autism Foundation signed up with Therap and was excited to improve their services by doing their documentation, track progress and produce reports using Therap. Therap Visiting JPUF Disability Fair 2016 in Dhaka, Bangladesh

Therap has been working with a number of disability organizations and special schools in Bangladesh for almost a year now. As part of the disability community, Therap was invited by one of the prominent organizations in the disability sector, SEID Trust, to pay a visit to the Disability Fair 2016, organized at the JPUF compound to celebrate 25th International Day of Persons with Disabilities and 18th National Disability Day 2016. Therap Continues Online Training with Resource and Family Counselling school for Intellectually Disabled from Nepal

Resource and Family Counselling school for Intellectually Disabled, a special school governed by National Association on Intellectual Disabilities Nepal (NAID Nepal), attended another Therap Online Training session. As the Technology Partner of 23rd conference of AFID 2017, Therap has been in constant contact with the representatives from NAID Nepal - Chairperson of NAID, Mr. Sachida Nand Shrivastava and Principal of the school, Mr. Rabindra K.C. Therap Online Training with Bangladeshi Organizations

Therap has started online training sessions with some of the organizations in Asia who are working for the betterment of the Persons with Disabilities (PWD). Being an online documentation software, Therap has been working with several disability organizations in Bangladesh to ensure better quality of services towards the people with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities. Currently, more than 20 organizations in Bangladesh are using Therap for their day-to-day documentation. Among these organizations, Tauri Foundation and SEID Trust have already had remote training session with Therap. The Therap online trainings were interactive with screen sharing, issue solving and discussions between Therap trainers and users of the respective schools. Therap Starts Online Training with Navjyoti Centre from Nepal

Navjyoti Centre, a daycare, providing services to disabled children at Baluwatar, Kathmandu started Online Training with Therap. The collaboration started when Prattay Iqbal, International Business Development Executive and Ashiqur Rahman, Training & Implementation Specialist from Therap visited Nepal last September. They met with the Principal of Navjyoti Centre, Sister Lisa Perekkatt, SCN and other staffs of the facility. Based on the ability, the mentally handicapped students are given special education and vocational training at Navjyoti Centre. The online training session started last week with tremendous enthusiasm. Therap is also delighted to have remote training sessions with their users.
