When it comes to electronic documentation of medical records, it’s still not a popular concept in Nepal. According to Health and Human Development, although the official census reports a 1.94% disability rate, the actual figure is far higher. In opinion of The Himalayan Times, maintaining information of patients through paperwork has posed a challenge in the healthcare industry in Nepal. Therap Global, the leader in electronic documentation of software for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) is working with organizations supporting these individuals. Hasin Israq and Asad Uzzaman Sazzad, our Training and Implementation Specialists had a meeting with Autism Care Nepal Society (ACNS) to provide an overview of Therap Software.
Hasin and Asad were welcomed by Mr. Surendra Bajracharya, Chief Administrator of ACNS. Our team then discussed with them how Therap software is revolutionizing the documentation process for organizations. Hasin talked about Therap’s modules including Individual Data Form (IDF) and Persons Centered Planning features. They liked Therap Software modules. Therap Global team is very inspired by this meeting as such visits allow the team to learn more about the needs of the Persons with Disabilities community in Nepal.
