Therap and SWID Bangladesh on educational workshop at Gaibandha, Bangladesh

For the first time, Therap and SWID Bangladesh jointly organized a workshop in Gaibandha, Bangladesh on July 10, 2017 at Gaibandha Public Library and Club. Over 200 representatives from special schools and organizations supporting Persons with Disabilities (PWD) from all over Gaibandha district under SWID Bangladesh attended the workshop. Most of them were special educators, teachers of special schools and organizations. Prattay Iqbal, International Business Development Executive from Therap talked about the software and demonstrated Therap system to the attendees. Special schools and organizations in Indonesia starts training and implementing Therap

Therap have been working with organizations and special schools supporting persons with disabilities for a long time with a global system in place. Therap is an ideal solution for documenting education plan, vocational programs, supported living, therapies and children’s services. It also produces reports based on the data entered and is currently used worldwide. Therap Team Visiting Special School For Disabled & Rehabilitation Center (SSDRC), Nepal

Therap Team has recently visited Special School For Disabled & Rehabilitation Center (SSDRC), Nepal to meet with the officials of the school. SSDRC has been implementing Therap for almost a year now and has made significant improvement since then. Therap Team Visiting Self-Help Group for Cerebral Palsy (SGCP), Nepal

Therap has recently started working with Self-Help Group for Cerebral Palsy (SGCP), Nepal. Also known as Cerebral Palsy Nepal, it is Nepal’s only non-governmental and non-profit organization dedicated to supporting people with cerebral palsy and their families. From their specialist centre in Dhapakhel, Lalitpur, they run a complete rehabilitation service for children with cerebral palsy and their parents, as well as a school and vocational training centre for up to 50 children, and a residential scheme for families living outside of the Kathmandu Valley. Therap Team has recently visited National Association on Intellectual Disabilities (NAID), Nepal, to meet with the officials of the school governed by them. The Resource and Family Counselling school for Intellectually Disabled, functioning under NAID, has been implementing Therap for almost a year now and has made significant improvement since then. Therap Team has recently visited one of the most prominent disability organizations of Nepal named Navjyoti Centre. It is a daycare, situated at Baluwatar, Kathmandu, providing services to children with special needs. Based on their ability, the intellectually disabled students are given special education and vocational training at the facility. Therap Team Visiting SWID Bangladesh

Society for the Welfare of the Intellectually Disabled (SWID) Bangladesh has been working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities since 1977. Being one of the pioneer organizations in disability fields in the country, SWID Bangladesh has now over 350 special schools all over Bangladesh, under its umbrella. The collaboration between Therap Services and SWID Bangladesh has come a long way since 2015. SWID Bangladesh is hosting the upcoming 23rd Conference of Asian Federation on Intellectual Disabilities (AFID), while Therap Services is the Technology Partner and Sponsor of the conference. The conference is scheduled to be held from 18 to 24 November in Dhaka, Bangladesh and both parties are taking extensive preparations to organize the event successfully. Therap Team Visiting Autism Welfare Foundation (AWF)

Autism Welfare Foundation (AWF) has been working since 2004 with a view to bringing the autistic children to the mainstream of life and making their life meaningful by providing them suitable and proper training. AWF has been using Therap since 2016 in order to improve the quality of services towards their students. Recently, Therap team had a delightful visit at AWF on April 16, 2017.
