Therap visited Indonesia on February 2018 and had a training session with PPRBM YPAC Nasional. Johanna Kroth (Senior Training and Implementation Specialist) and Prattay Iqbal (International Business Development Executive) from Therap visited the school. Nana Moeljadi from YPAC Nasional gave Therap team a tour of the school. They have around 60 individuals in the school and they involve the individuals into various activities like music therapy, gardening, making handicrafts and other vocational training . Therap Team at St Philomena School, Philippines
Therap team was at Manila, Philippines during February, 2018. Prattay Iqbal (International Business Development Executive) and Johanna Kroth (Senior Training and Implementation Specialist) visited St Philomena school and conducted a training session with the staff and the school administrators. Therap team received a very warm welcome from St Philomena school management. Around 60 special children are currently enrolled in St Philomena School and they have over 12 special education teachers to provide services. Therap at Job Fair 2018 for The Persons with Disabilities in Bangladesh
Bangladesh Computer Council in association with ICT Division organized a Job Fair for persons with disabilities (PWD) on January 1, 2018. Therap was invited to the event by Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) & Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) to attend this event. Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, Hon’ble State Minister for ICT Division attended the event as chief guest. It was a great opportunity for the employers who want to employ person with disabilities. Therap Team at Yayasan Sayap Ibu Cabang Provinsi Banten
Johanna Kroth, Senior Training and Implementation Specialist and Prattay Iqbal, International Business Development Executive from Therap Services visited Jakarta during the first week of November and visited few agencies working with persons with disabilities. Yayasan Sayap Ibu Cabang Provinsi Banten is one of the few organizations who are doing some amazing work for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Indonesia. During the visit chairperson of Yayasan Sayap Ibu Cabang Provinsi Banten Ms. Renowati Hardjosubroto welcomed Therap team cordially. Therap Team Visits The Society for the Welfare of Autistic Children (SWAC)
The Society for the Welfare of Autistic Children (SWAC) is a nonprofit and voluntary organization providing education and training to special children since February 3, 2000. A team of 9 persons from Therap visited SWAC on November 14, 2017. Sabina Hossain, Director and Md. Mofizul Islam, Deputy Manager from SWAC welcomed Therap team cordially. Therap Team at Angels Care Foundation
A team of eight people from Therap visited the special school Angels Care Foundation on November 15, 2017. Therap Asia team along with USA personnel (with more than 20 years of experience) Jason Laws (Business Development Consultant ), Sarah Christiansen (Training and Implementation Specialist)and several Programmer and Quality Assurance professionals from Therap Bangladesh visited the school. Beautiful Mind is one of the leading special schools in Bangladesh which is providing services to children with autism and intellectually challenged children since 2004. Therap’s Plenary Session at 23rd AFID Conference, 2017
Therap was the technology partner and one of the sponsors of the 23rd AFID Conference that took place in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The conference was held from November 19, 2017 to November 23, 2017 at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novo Theatre. The conference started off with inauguration from the President of Bangladesh Abdul Hamid on November 19, 2017. Therap Team in Indonesia, visits Jakarta CP Center
During the first week of November Johanna Kroth, Senior Training and Implementation Specialist and Prattay Iqbal, International Business Development Executive from Therap Services visited Jakarta to meet with organizations serving and working with persons with disabilities (PWD). Therap Team started off with a mandatory sightseeing of the beautiful Jakarta city and visited the National Monument and the National Museum. Later on Johanna and Prattay attended a meeting with one of the pioneers for providing services to the PWD in Indonesia, an umbrella organization YPAC Nasional. Therap visits Beautiful Mind for a Training Session
Beautiful Mind a special school in Uttara, Dhaka Bangladesh, offers wide range of programs for children with autism and intellectually challenged children. Therap is delighted to provide training session to around 60 Teachers and Therapists of Beautiful Mind in the school’s large conference area. Prattay Iqbal, International Business Development Executive, Therap, gave overview of Therap to the attendees. Earlier Threap had provided training to a batch of teachers in Beautiful Mind.
