Therap starts implementation at the Institute of Neuro-Development and Research, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

We have started training and implementation at the Institute of Neuro-Development and Research (INDR). Dr. Osman Ghany, Chairman of INDR, is keen to learn about the system. The training consisted of general information and trainers, Malisa Mahjabeen and Tasnia Ahad, helped set up users and individuals in Therap.  Tasnia Ahad, Malisa Mehjabeen and  Dr. Osman Ghany The Chairman and the Managing Director of INDR think it would be beneficial for them as data can be generated and shared in a secure manner within the system. They are willing to use the system to share information with parents of individuals with intellectual disabilities. This would be particularly useful for parents who live abroad and want to be updated.

Institute of Neuro-Development and Research, Dhaka, Bangladesh starts using Therap Services

We are pleased to announce that the Institute of Neuro-Development and Research (INDR), Bangladesh starts using Therap Services. INDR is a specialized private facility for people with neurodevelopmental disorder and believes such an electronic documentation will help them in different aspects. Therap is now ready to start training and implementation at INDR! About INDR Institute of Neuro-Development and Research is a specialized Private Facility for persons  with neurodevelopmental disorders, e.g. autism, down syndrome etc. Some of the services provided by INDR are neurofeedback brain therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy. Therap to attend 22nd Asian Conference on Intellectual Disabilities In Sri Lanka

We are pleased to announce, Therap Services is going to attend the 22nd Asian Conference on Intellectual Disabilities. This conference is organized by Asian Federation on Intellectual Disabilities on every alternate year. This year’s conference is going to take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka between October 3rd and 7th, 2015. Richard A. Robbins, Chief Executive Officer and Mojahedul Hoque Abul Hasanat, Chief Technology Officer of Therap will be attending the conference. Members and delegates attending the conference will get an opportunity to discuss the use of ICT in the Intellectual Disabilities field in Asia in this year’s conference. Another training day at Smiling Children Special School (SCSS), Dhaka, Bangladesh.

  As part of our collaboration with the Smiling Children Special School, guide teachers and team leads at SCSS have started using the Therap Application. Therap is continuing its training and implementation for the users at SCSS. Therap is getting insights into the intellectual disability field in Bangladesh.

Therap to present at the poster session of The 22nd Asian Conference on Intellectual Disabilities In Sri Lanka

Therap Services is going to attend the 22nd Asian Conference on Intellectual Disabilities. The conference is going to take place from October 3-7, 2015 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Therap is going to present in the poster session of the conference. In this session the delegates will get the chance to interact with the representatives of Therap. How the use of ICT can improve the quality of care, and how it can reduce the costs will be discussed in the presentation. World Autism Awareness Month, April 2015

Today, April 2nd, is the eighth annual World Autism Awareness Day (WAAD), which aims to spread awareness and raise funds about the pervasive disorder of autism which affects millions of individuals and families. World Autism Awareness Day helps to increase and develop world knowledge of the autism epidemic. Involving people with autism in the celebration of this day encourages them and informs communities around the globe. It also signifies the importance of early intervention and diagnosis in curing and preventing individuals from developing these conditions.
