Therap Global conducted a successful training session at Marigold Special School in Nigeria. Therap Global team member, Ms. Johanna Kroth (Director of Global Implementation) was warmly welcomed by Ms. Elizabeth Akpan, Director of Marigold Special School. She started with the individual intake process and gradually went on about how to admit and enroll the student in Therap system. Johanna later assisted her on setting up the various aspects of Therap account, along with setting up roles and privileges. Therap Global starts its journey with three new regions of YPAC
Therap Global attended the 7th YPAC Nasional meeting which took place from July 26-28, 2019 at Central Bangka, Indonesia. The team had an opportunity to meet all the branches of YPAC, of which YPAC Semarang, YPAC Bandung, and YPAC Pangkal Pinang have started implementing Therap software to electronically document vital information of Persons with Disabilities (PWD). Therap Global previously met members from YPAC Jakarta and YPAC Solo in prior visits and enjoyed meeting members from other regions this time. Therap Global participated at the YPAC National Meeting
Recently Therap Global participated in the 7th YPAC Nasional meeting in Indonesia. The meeting was held from July 26-28, 2019 at Soll Marina, Central Bangka. This year's theme was "Togetherness in the Development of YPAC Management". YPAC is a non-profit social organization established in 1953 that provides services for children with disabilities, especially those with physical disabilities. YPAC has a special agency for the Center for Community Resources Rehabilitation and Development (PPRBM) in Surakarta. Therap Global Information Session at Kampala, Uganda
Therap Global, the leader in the electronic documentation for organizations supporting Persons with Disabilities (PWD) conducted an information session in Kampala, Uganda in collaboration with Special Children Special People (SCSP). Therap Global team member, Johanna Kroth gave a presentation focusing on how Therap can help improve the quality of services for PWD through Therap’s suite of applications. Therap Global at the IASE 16th Biennial Conference, Tanzania
Recently, Johanna Kroth, Director of Global Implementation from the Therap Global team has attended The International Association of Special Education (IASE) 16th Biennial Conference which took place at Magamba, Tanzania. The conference was held from July 14 to July 17, 2019. The theme of the conference this year was "Empowering Persons with Disabilities: Developing Resilience and Inclusive Sustainable Development." The attendees came in from various parts of the world including organization management, caregivers, parents, teachers and special educators who are involved with the disability community. Therap Global, the leader in providing electronic documentation services to organizations supporting Persons with Disabilities (PWD) visited Patrick Speech and Language Centre in Nigeria. Therap Global member, Johanna Kroth was welcomed by Ms. Nsikan Essien, who is an administrator of the school. The staff gave a pleasant tour of the school. They have a well-balanced teacher to student ratio, and the staff focuses on teaching useful skills such as Activities of Daily Living (ADLS). In addition, they also provide therapies to their students, while the students and staff work with tablets and laptops, as they have decent internet connectivity. Dinner with the CEO of Winford Centre for Children and Women
Johanna Kroth from the Therap Global team recently had a wonderful dinner meeting with Basirat Razaq-Shuaib. She is the CEO and founder of The Winford Centre for Children and Women, which is situated at Lagos, Nigeria. The Winford Centre for Children and Women works to support children and women with disabilities. Basirat also maintains a website which lists medical services, educational services for people with special needs. Alongside this, she also manages an online store The Windford Centre International with tools and materials for supporting individuals with disabilities. Basirat is also an avid writer of books for children with special needs. She visits schools and reads these books to the children.
