Therap Global Team Visits Angels Care Foundation

Michelle Saunders and Johanna Kroth along with Therap Global team visited Angels Care Foundation yesterday. This was Michelle’s and Johanna’s first visit to the school. Angels Care Foundation is an independent non-governmental and non-profit organization, registered under the Ministry of Social Welfare of Bangladesh. The school serves children with special needs related to autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, ADHD and recently received an award from Shomaj Kollyan Odhidoptor, Bangladesh for being the Best Organization at Serving Persons with Disabilities (PWD). Team Lunch at Nando’s: Bonding over Peri-Peri chicken

Michelle Saunders’ latest experience in Dhaka, Bangladesh included a trip to a local restaurant, Nando’s, with the Therap Global Team for lunch. Michelle and the team had a great time chatting about their upcoming meetings and visits to agencies. While savoring mouth-watering PERi-PERi Chicken, the team talked about other trainings to be conducted in the next year and shared experiences of past trainings. This was Michelle's first time trying out the PERi-PERi chicken which is a chicken dish served with spicy sauce, infused with various herbs. Therap Team at Neuro-Developmental Disability Students’ Work Exhibition

Michelle Saunders’ and Johanna Kroth’s latest visit was to BRAC Neuro- Developmental Disability (NDD) Centre. The team at Therap Global is in the process of assisting BRAC with the implementation of their system at 8 NDD Centres. In light of the International Day of Persons with Disability (IDPD), the Therap team was invited to attend their day-long neuro-developmental students work exhibition, where 203,689 students with disabilities have already graduated from their primary school. Michelle and Johanna had a wonderful time seeing the arts and crafts by the Persons With Disabilities (PWD). Breakfast Conversations in Dubai

We are excited to announce that Michelle Saunders and Johanna Kroth are finally in Dhaka, Bangladesh! When waiting for their connecting flight from Dubai to Bangladesh, they had a pleasant time at Dubai International airport, catching up with each other while enjoying the taste of Dubai with their mouth-watering sandwiches. Michelle and Johanna had a lovely time sitting in Tranzeet DXB, an exotic American-style diner, and chatting about their upcoming scheduled meetings in Dhaka with special schools and agencies supporting persons with disabilities. Michelle and Johanna are both looking forward to meeting and reconnecting with Therap users across Bangladesh and are also excited to provide more information on Therap’s documentation software to those who are working in the disability community. Indonesia, a Southeast Asian country made up of thousands of volcanic islands, is home to hundreds of ethnic groups speaking many different languages. More than 4.45% of the people in Indonesia have some form of disability. However, the lack of credible data has posed challenges in implementing the right policies and strategies for them.
