Therap Global team members Hasin Israq and Asad Uzzaman Sazzad, Training and Implementation Specialists recently visited agencies and organizations supporting Persons with Disabilities (PWD) in Nepal. According to Health and Human Development, although the official census reports a 1.94% disability rate, the actual figure is far higher in Nepal. As stated by The Himalayan Times, maintaining information of patients through paperwork has posed a challenge in the healthcare industry in Nepal.
Hasin and Asad met with a number of agencies in Nepal, where they provided an overview of Therap’s electronic documentation software. Our team members provided engaging onsite training at National Association on Intellectual Disabilities- Nepal (NAID-NEPAL), Navjyoti Centre, Special Education and Rehabilitation Center (SERC) and Cerebral Palsy Nepal (SGCP). The training involved an overview of Therap’s system of applications including Individual Data Form (IDF), Nursing/Progress Notes, Person-Centered Planning, and Mobile Applications. Hasin and Asad also had a wonderful time meeting with Autism Care Nepal Society (ACNS) and are looking forward to working with them.
